Spot in vray render

Can anyone tell me why these weird white spots appear in render. I am using 3dsmax 8 with vray 1.47.

For setting i am using IR map with LC with medium settings. would be grateful for any help. Thanks in advance

I have no idea what those are but I also get them sometimes with the glass material. I switch to a standard glass and then it works. I know it sounds crazy, but that's as far as my research goes.

Anyone knows for sure what causes this??

just looks like your IR settings are too low from the small image you posted. Can you post what your actual LC and IR settings are?

yeah, looks like your IM settings are too low. you could also either try raising your Hsph subdivs, or global subdivs multipliers.

Thanks for all the response. it was a problem with low IR map setting. I had to use low setting since i was preparing this scene for animation. now i have increased the IR map setting and it works fine. Thanks a lot again and i am sorry for replying late.
